Batman (1989)
#29 on my Top 100 List
Remember back before the Batmobile was a tank and it was just a kick-ass car? And before the Batcave was the basement of a warehouse and it was an actual cave? The Dark Knight is a great movie - it even made it onto my Top 100 list when I first saw it - but Tim Burton's original is just awesome. Michael Keaton will always be Batman to me and Burton's creepy whimsical style fits the Batman mythology (pre-The Dark Knight Returns) perfectly. If you like emo Batman, choose The Dark Knight. If you like Batman kicking ass and having fun with it, go with this.
