Twilight (2008)
Say what you want about the book series, but no one can deny that the story of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan has become a pop culture phenomenon. There are definite flaws with the movie (vampire makeup that doesn't quite blend into the actors' skin, special effects not quite up to what is expected of a movie like this, etc.) but it stays true to the book and completely won over audiences. The cast is worth noting and with Robert Pattinson, Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, and Peter Facinelli, they definitely got the gorgeous vampire stereotype down. The recent casting news about the sequel, New Moon, makes me really excited to see it this November!
