Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)
I have to be thankful for this movie, because it led to the creation of my favorite TV show of all time. The movie itself is campy and sort of ridiculous, but in that way that's enjoyable anyway. I know that the show and movie have almost zero continuity (other than the name of high school and the name of Buffy's watcher), but I was disappointed that she doesn't burn down the gym, since it's such a major plot point in the first season of the show. Blink and you'll miss an extremely young Ben Affleck as a basketball player.
